Learn to sail courses are available. Junior courses are held over 6 weeks on Sunday mornings from 9.00am to 12.00pm. The cost includes all equipment, boat hire etc AND 12 months membership of the club.  Courses are always oversubscribed, and early registration of interest is encouraged. By the end of the course children will know how to safely sail a dinghy around the bay and will learn general boating and marine skills. Parents are encouraged to stay to assist with boat rigging and de-rigging.

Adult courses are available to suit differing levels of ability. Please enquire for availability.

Sailing also teaches life skills, independence, decision-making and team work. In the words of Australia's gold medal winning Olympic Coach Victor Kovalenko;
"If you want to build your child's body, teach them to be an athlete. If you want to build your child's brain, teach them computers. If you want to build a child's spirit for life, teach them sailing."
